I think I may have found it.

GM # 11561382, 11610198

Found this on E-Bay

Can anyone confirm for me this is what I need?

I just called my local GM parts department and they confirmed that 11610198 is the part number for those clips. List price of $5.28 each. I ordered 2 of them and they will be here tomorrow.

OK, so I ordered that one off of E Bay. it was not what was pictured. Also, I ordered the same from the dealership. I did not receive the blue retainer with the hole in the middle, instead I got a black retainer with a squared off hole in it. I told the parts counter that this wasn't the part I needed and he showed me a schematic of the front end and the part number on the package was the part number on the clip in the fender. Looks like GM changed the retainer shape on us. I will use this one but I imagine the headlight will still wobble around like it is without the retainer in place. If anyone finds the proper retainer please let me know.

The part number on E-Bay was 11610198. I believe that is the part number that we need. The dealership and ebay both sold me part number 15284612 which is This. When I told the guy at the dealership this wasn't what I needed, he showed me that this was in fact on the parts breakdown sheet, these 2 part numbers are interchangeable according to them. I've contacted the Ebay seller and am currently waiting on a reply.

The black retainer that the dealer is trying to sell you is NOT the correct retainer, I 100% confidently guarantee it. It seems hard to believe that these retainers are interchangeable since they're no where near the same.

SO I got in touch with the E Bay seller, told him this wasn't the part I needed. He wrote back.
Dear spanknstine,

Part number 11610198 supersedes to part number 15284612. I double checked the application to make sure it is the correct part and according to the catalog that is the correct retainer Its just a new number and design.

So, will I not be able to find the blue retainer because of this?

On another note, I've found yet another Part #11561382
This is aggravating trying to track down this part. I've went to 3 Dealers in town here and ordered 2 online and they are all coming back as the black retainer and not the blue one. Same response from them all, as stated above.

How much are the black retainers? If they're cheap then I'd just go ahead and buy a pair just to try them out.

If those don't yield good results, just go to a junkyard. I'm sure you could find what you need there.
