Heat Blows Cold When Idling

Hello everyone.. hoping someone can help me. I have a 2009 3.5 V6 with 34,6XX miles on it and I just found out today and realized that the only time the heat blows warm air is when I'm moving. If I'm idling, it slowly starts to get cooler and then just gets cold. I bought the car with 22,XXX on it. I am wondering if anyone has experience this problem? If I have to deal with problems like this then I am just going to sell the car. I have a 7 month old and can't have problems like no heat. I haven't actually checked anything yet... just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem.

Check water/coolant levels. You shouldn't sell the car if you are experiencing problems from not maintaining it. That's like getting mad at the car for not gripping the road on old tires.

First, don't take it to your car to the dealership. Take it to a mechanic shop.

98% of the time this symptom is caused by low coolant or air pockets in the coolant system. Google is filled with this question as well as this forum. We get this question every other week.
