Heat Blows Cold When Idling

Hello everyone.. hoping someone can help me. I have a 2009 3.5 V6 with 34,6XX miles on it and I just found out today and realized that the only time the heat blows warm air is when I'm moving. If I'm idling, it slowly starts to get cooler and then just gets cold. I bought the car with 22,XXX on it. I am wondering if anyone has experience this problem? If I have to deal with problems like this then I am just going to sell the car. I have a 7 month old and can't have problems like no heat. I haven't actually checked anything yet... just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem.

I wouldn't really sell it. I love my G6 lol. I was just rambling. I went outside after posting and the coolant levels are normal. It's been doing it a couple of days now that I think about it. I leave the house at 6 am and remote start my car beforehand and I noticed that my cars always cold but with the temps being around 20, I figured that it was just really cold out. I think its weird that it only happens on idle. You would think that if coolant was low the heat wouldn't work no matter what. Well a little bit from engine heat but thats not the case. I'm taking it to the dealership in the morning if I can get out of work. Any other suggestions?
