damn rattling noise under my car found out it was a heat shield for the upper exhaust. maybe 3 or 4 inches wide less than a foot long. has anybody else removed the from their car?? should i be looking to put this piece back on my car or forget about it???

I got it removed as well. I was told the manufacturer put them on and not too worry if it is off nor do I have to replace it. I hope I don't have to because I love not hearing that buzzing sound.
