Agreed...debadge first! And clay bar/wax the area after toosecond debadging is easy take your hair dryer outside and heat up whatever you wanna take off and use fishing line to "scrape" them off (won't hurt your car one bit).
Agreed x100000tint would be sick just go to a shop or have it done professionally so its not poo poo.
I don't wanna debadge it. I personally like them onI'm gonna jump in here and warn against debadging, only because your car is around 6 years old and there has been plenty of time for the paint to fade due to sun and other atmospheric exposure. If you debadged now there is a pretty good chance that you will have the shadow image of the badges that will show. Of course, you might like that look, soooo.... there are several threads on the board with debadging instructions. The badges are held on with double-sided adhesive tape which is easier to remove if you get the adhesive warm by heating up the badges with a hair dryer.

check out G6Lover's car....easy way to add some chrome to the lower grille. I think he bought it at local autoparts store.
