Hello all,
I recently installed a cold air intake system in my G6 and now I am experiencing a whistling noise. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution? Can anyone share tips or methods on how to fix the cold air intake whistle? I would greatly appreciate any advice or recommendations.
Thank you for your time and assistance!

You didn't give any clues when or what rpm or speed it is whistling... and probably not related with your setup but... My 2008 3.5 had a small faint chirping whistle at idle when the engine is cold. It would then get louder and go with the engine rpm It would then kind of go away after a bit - such as when it got fully warm. I went and popped the hood when it was cold and making the slight noise at idle. I put a little stuff on the serpentine belt to check for that and the idler pulley - no change. I then wiggled the oil filler cap which is kind of a cheesy set up on the engine. The oil cap is removable but yet usually pulls the short extension tube from the engine some too. I tightened it better and the noise hasn't returned. I think there is crankcase suction or pressure leaking at the 2 oil cap connections when the system is cold. My intake system is stock.
