I have a 07 g6 value leader. I just recently installed an aftermarket touch screen radio, it was working great for a week and today on my way home the speakers stopped working, radio still has power and works like it should, got home and took apart my dash and tried messing with the speaker wires to see if one was loose or grounding itself out but nadda everything is fine. What could this be? Any help would be appreciated
Sorry if it sounds obvious, but as it is a new head unit I would check things like any mute settings, volume and different sources (radio, etc) to make sure it is not something simple yet easily overlooked. It has not been my experience that speakers all stop working at once.
No need to apologize lol and yeah i made sure it wasn't on mute and i switched back and forth between the radio, aux cord and blue tooth and still had no sound
If it still isnt working then your amp in the trunk on passenger side is most likely bad from condensation if your has the monsoon system. I removed it and bypassed it. Can take pics to show you what wires go where to bypass yours.
Could you send me those pictures please I'm having the same issue
