I'm from Toronto, Ontario and just bought a black 2006 G6 GTP Coupe which is fully loaded with the exception of the 6 disc changer and satellite radio. I also have a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT which puts down around 330fwhp (supercharged, cammed, headers, etc etc) however I wanted a new DD and liked the price and look of the G6. Anyways thats all for now, my plan is to just spend some time reading through the forum to learn more about modding/repairs/etc.

Thanks!

Welcome! Interesting you went with a supercharger instead of turbo? Also are you on clubgp.com? I'm bleen over there :bigok:

Unfortunately teh G6 doesn't have the mod potential of the GP, but is still a good fun car nonetheless

P.S. I had an XP cam on mine (amongst other things ;)) - made it sound nice & mean!

I was on ClubGP, but mostly posted only on the more local forums...lately theyre all going downhill because the cars are becoming extremely cheap and a lot of...erm....less mature people seem to be buying them, although there are still a ton of good guys out there.

I ended up going s/c because at the time I was rebuilding the block anyway so it was cheaper to get an s/c and some other misc parts and supercharge the L36. Turbo cars are definetely fast but IMHO they were less relaible (although this can be argued until beyond the grave :bash: lol). My GP also has 402,000km on it so not many turbo guys wanted to sell me thier kit lol.

The G6 is still a great DD and a lot of fun though!
