Hey guys, anyone has removed the steering wheel center piece? i wanted to have it painted, wondering if anyone has taken that off that can tell me how, i didn’t see any screws on there, thinking if it just snaps on and off..

In short...disconect battery, then put in a pin in the holes on the back of the steering wheel, it should come off.

thanks, I’ll try that today, I’ll make sure i disconnect the battery hehe don’t want the airbag blowing up in my face

SIR Coil woes

Anyone know which electrical connectors to remove from the airbag? I need to get the SIR coil off to recenter it. It spin itself around quite a bit when I took the wheel off to get at steering wheel control connector.

There are two yellow wires that connect behind the airbag.

Push in on the sides of the column cover on top and lift and it will pull right up.
Then you can see it.

do u have a 3 spoke or 4 wheel?
