Due to circumstances beyond my control, I must relinquish my membership of over 7 years on the Grand Am Owners Club forum and defect to this G6 Owners Club!

"Beyond my control" happened on 9/3/2014...

After much searching, I found my new "baby", a 2009 Pontiac G6 GXP coupe, just over 34K miles and first put into service 10/2010! I took delivery 12/2/2014, but haven't driven it yet (Doctor's orders) :(

Thanks for having me!

Thanks, Lampoon. That's what happens when you text and drive. I was stopped at an intersection and got hit at 60 mph! She didn't see me and never slowed down. Fortunately, she was driving a Sonic instead of something larger!

Thanks Waterfowler76! I really enjoyed my Grand Am GT...almost 148K in 11 years, only major issue was the damn rotors/brakes. Hope my G6 is as good or better!

The G6 is a lot better than the Grand Am in many ways.
They haven't updated the rotors / brakes though so in all likelihood you'll still have the same problems (I still do).
