I just got a red 2006 pontiac G6 GTP coupe. I was wondering if anyone had any appearance mod suggestions. I really dont like the headlights that are on it right now because they are just way to bright(as in the silver part not the light that it puts out). i want to find some black headlights or tint the ones i have. I want to get black tail lights or tint them as well. If anyone has any trust worthy brands and installation tips they would be greatly appreciated! Also i want to get a spoiler and maybe some new rims. Any suggestions??

I don't know of any aftermarket headlights that are quite what you're looking for.

I remember seeing a set that someone had taken apart and painted the "shiny" part behind the reflectors with black paint. then put them back together. They looked pretty good.

As for the tail lights, look around a bit. Several people have used "nightshades" paint to tint their tails darker.

Seems to be a simple project.

As for Body Mods... well there really isn't much out there that I would recommend. There are a few different bumper kits and some side skirts, they look kinda dumb IMHO.

Just a note of caution, check your State's laws concerning tail lights and headlights before you go tinting anything. Especially if you ever plan to sell the car to someone else. I know that in Maryland you cannot sell a car that has had its taillights tinted without a whole lot of trouble for the new owner.

06 headlights can be opened and the chrome can be painted to match your car...
like the corvetes. There are people who do that. There are aftermarket headlights too.

Lets see....what else....rims are limited to the G6 bolt pattern.

Body mods? recessed grills are awesomeness.....which spoiler did u like?
