You can recalibrate the throttle yourself to eliminate flat spots or pauses in its response curve.

1-ignition to RUN but do not start
2-wait until all the idiot lights go out (engine light should be the only one to remain on)
3-slowly depress the gas peddle to the floor (take at least 15 seconds to gradually push it to the floor, do not waver as you push)
4-slowly release gas peddle to full up (again, take at least 15 seconds to gradually let it back up, do not waver as you let up)
5-ignition to off
6-DO NOT START IMMEDIATELY! Allow to sit for up to 10 mins+, then start and check for difference in response and linearity.

Should help you break loose the tires :)

Interesting, I've never come across anything like this before. mjgonegm have you tried on your g6 at all? Or has anyone tried it?

I have tried it on my impala and my friends G6, And a dodge csrt-4, But this way this along with this and the air baffle delete we were able to spin the tires in drive from a dead stop with traction control on

Has anyone tried this? I am kinda curios to see if it works. Might have to try it.

Well sry, But did you make sure all the lights went off, inculding the seat belt? And you have to do slow and steady don't do be jerky or press to hard, I found it easier with my hand because my foot is just to big to do it gently.

if i tried it yet?? hell no. where in the hell did you come up with this information???? maybe if i put a snorkel on the hood of car i will have a make believe supercharger. there is no way you can change the throttle response doing what you say to do. it isn't going to happen. hit the pipe again and dream that your g6 is a Z06.. :deal::bolt:

Well it has been known to work BMW with and dodge cars, and it works for my car (08 impala) We did do it on the G6, however we also did the intake baffle delete aswell so i'm not 100% sure which had an greater affect, But it did have an effiect

But I guess, I will try it on my GTO once i get it all back toghter. BUT it can be done with the GM scan tool they will reclab if it's realy f'ed up.

As far as the zo6 comment, my uncle has one with lt headres and an lunati cam...... Lets just say there is no way i'd go up against him, Hell he's scared ferrari away.
