lets see some halo shots!!

Too bad thats a dummy light on top otherwise it would look cool.

I saw the light pattern on another guys post and it was crap. Do the HID's
make it better?

the HIDs do make it a lot better, but I think Im gonna get some 50w HIDs for the lows to make them brighter. You dont get as wide of a beam of light as the stock ones, so it make it seem to be a lot dimmer. The Hids also gets rid of that jagged cut off line and smooths it out. Let me go and get a shot for you.

Ok, it asks what bulb size and that confuses me...Do I need to go with the OEM size? I read in the HID thread a little bit but it is kind of overwhelming with like 15 pages of information. I read that some people have H11's for lows and H7's for highs...I figure that if I go with anything, it will probably be what everyone else is using.

Your stock headlights that come on the g6 are H11 bulbs for low beams and H9 bulbs for high beam.

If you have these new projectors the High and Lows are both H1 bulbs.

Ah. I didn't think of this until now, but some of the different "sized" bulbs have a different end on them that your wiring harness plugs into. So if I got a kit for the OEM bulbs (h11 and h9) then I wouldn't be able to use the HID kit for the projectors unless I bought a new kit with h1's?

Question?
The second pic on post 5, it looks like there is a sharp cut off on bottom, which is cool but why is light shining above that? Do you have the high beams on too?

no I dont have the high beams on it is just a hot spot created by the cutoff line. The metal bracket inside the projector is not exactly a straight line. It uses the cutoff line to light the road in front of you and the hot spots to see farther down the road. On a wall or fence it looks weird but on the road it works out great to see clear. I think they did that to help with the lower quality projector. Higher quality projectors dont need the hot spot to see farther.
