Hey guys,

It's starting to warm up again and I'm ready to do more mods. I've been doing research on the intake resonator for the past hour and half or so and haven't found a solid answer to my question. If I remove the resonator with my stock air box, will there be a reasonable difference in sound? I will get a CAI eventually but my next $$ upgrade will be suspension. Just wondering if this is a good (and free) way to get more sound out of the engine. Plus I'm doing my calipers soon and I could gain access to it while the wheels are off if I read correctly.

Thanks for the help as always!

Leave it alone.

It prevents water ingestion on your sealed stock unit.

It is not needed on an aftermarket intake.
