Nope. Dont work. Total waste of time and money.
It may work for a short while, but it'll quickly start throwing codes and running like crap.
Your best bet is a tune. Wams tune is the way to go for a G6. Improves the map and runs off 93 octane for a good boost of power for the money.
I'll post a link for ya after work unless someone beats me to it.
I really couldn't tell you, I've focuses primarily on my 4 banger for performance options. I'm really not sure of the Monte Carlo motor. Being the same platform it may work, but you'll have to do quite a bit to figure out, gotta get the manifold sorted, belt routing, etc.
I've you're looking for boost and a kit isn't available, it may almost be easier to turbo it, but then dyno tuning can be a nice pain.
Look around, maybe check out the Monte Carlo forums, I'm sure you can find some good info.

It’s widely known that the convertibles are rated at less...
Hey guys! I had a question concerning my 3.5l v6 pontiac, so since I cant turbo charge a 3.5l engine. I was wondering if it was possible to swap my 3.5l v6 to a 2.4l 4cyl. Would it fit in the engine bay? If so what kind of tranny could I use for that 2.4l to make it an manual. I wanted to...
I own a 2006 G6 Sedan (2.4L I think) and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a aftermarket muffler that will make the car sound louder (nothing obnoxious) but I want to give the car some balls.
I have the 07 3.9l gt convertible. Currently have an exhaust leak which I believe is in the flex pipe. I’m looking to get this removed so I can straight pipe the car. So I’m not necessarily looking for performance exhaust.
So what performance mods should I go for first as I’ve noticed there’s...
