So after a bit of searching it seems this is a common problem with the G6. I would hope at 100k the cat isnt bad, the bonneville ran with the originals for its entire life. im going to check the post-cat 02 sensor and see if thats the problem. how many of you have had this issue and it turned out the 02 was bad??

If it is the cat, which it most likely is, because if it is reading "rear O2 below efficiency" there is a good chance that it is the cat. Mine went bad at oh... about 84,000 miles. Warranty on them is 8yr/80,000 mi. Here is a link to what I did once I was sure it was the cat - http://www.g6ownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8686

It cost me $9 and took maybe 3 hours.
