So after a bit of searching it seems this is a common problem with the G6. I would hope at 100k the cat isnt bad, the bonneville ran with the originals for its entire life. im going to check the post-cat 02 sensor and see if thats the problem. how many of you have had this issue and it turned out the 02 was bad??

Yeah, I replaced bank 1 sensor 2, I don't remember the code though. That was around 75K, just crossed the 100K mark about a week ago.

If it is the cat, which it most likely is, because if it is reading "rear O2 below efficiency" there is a good chance that it is the cat. Mine went bad at oh... about 84,000 miles.
