hi every1, long time reader, first time poster. i was always in the market for a g6, i finally ended up buyin an '07 g6 gt convertible, im from toronto but now live in michigan, the car was shipped to me from new jersey, i have yet to test it because the shipping co. lost he keys, so theyre either gonna search for it or buy new ones, my reason for posting is because i cant seem to find the brake shift interlock, im guessin they unlocked the safety so they can load it on the truck. thing is, even tho i dont have the key i can shift gears, its auto btw, without pressing on the brakes. so if any1 can shed some light on my situation id appreciate it

Thinking..... they activated the automatic transmission shift lock control solenoid with the Key to load it (before they lost it). When you get a key in and "On" the system should return to normal.

thanks thats a load of worry off my shoulders, i figured there was a problem with the tranny
