My fiancee has an 06 G6 GT sedan and I'm trying to figure out the problem here. She only got one key fob with her car when she bought it last year, and it had worked fine up until a few weeks ago. I've already re-soldered it because it stopped working and the clip fell off the circuit board...twice. Now when you push the unlock button the horn chirps and the hazards flash twice. We've replaced the battery with no luck. No other functions work on the remote either(truck/alarm). The dealership wants $100+for new fob and programming, and just to look at the car they want $60. I don't want to do either of those things if there is a fix for it. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Am I just outta luck and need to buy a new setup from the dealer? Thanks in advance...
