Limp mode issue- Broken locking connector on ECM

The P2135 I tried to fix because that code has been on for a few years. Gas pedal was $150 bucks.
I could be wrong but would the accelerator position would throw a different code?

In the service manual, I see code P2135 relating to the throttle position sensor located in the Throttle Body.
I see code P2138 correlating to accelerator pedal position.

Perhaps the quickest way to tell is use your scanner (live data) next time you go into a limp mode and verify that APP_D(%) (absolute pedal position) is double that of APP_E(%). This should be true for the entire travel of the accelerator pedal. EX: If E is 10% then D should be close to 20%.

If this is the case then the issue is most likely not your accelerator pedal. I would then verify that you are getting a readout from the ATP(%) (absolute throttle position) through the whole pedal travel to make sure the potentiometers/circuitry inside your throttle body are not having issues.

I am posting an example of my APP readout, yours should look similar if functioning correctly. Unfortunately if the issue is intermittent you still may not see the issue unless you have a way to view data with freeze frames. I am unsure if limp mode goes away when the issue corrects iself or until the next ignition cycle.
