Well I have been wanting to hook up my old amp and subs for a bit now, gotta have my bass. Anyway I was wondering if the line out converter is unnecessary? Couldn't you just take two cut RCA wires and splice them into the back speakers wire for the input to your amp?

I think thats my only question,I just I have a decent idea about getting a remote wire from the trunk fusebox. Not sure which one to use,i been hearing a lot about HVAC,so maybe that one if its back there.

I have an '07 g6

some of the mtx audio amplifers are capable of being hook up direct to speaker wires with out a LOC but they have patented smart engage technology no other amps can be hooked up that way you dont get a strong enough signal that way, if your amp has HI-Level Inputs you can use those

and as far as your remote wire goes just hook up to anything that runs on switched power and make sure it has at least a 10 amp fuse or bigger
