Hi,

I've been doing a bit of research on this vehicle and have a few concerns based on reviews on edmunds.com... which are:
a "clunking" when turning,
failure of the brakes,
and failure of the power steering.

From looking around the forum, it seems like the "clunking" thing can be fixed with a strut brace replacement for 100 bucks, but what about the brakes and power steering? Are these still a problem for the 2008 models of the car? Have they been fixed? Are there any fixes I can do myself? Are they isolated events in a few "bad eggs" or do all G6's inevitably have problems with the power steering and braking?

Thanks for your help.

Like you alluded to, not that problems can't happen but if 1000 people have a given car, and 5 have problems, guess which 5 are going to light up the forums with their issues?

I can't recall brake/power steering failure horror stories; then again something like that might render the owner um, unable to post about it afterwards
