$238 from gripmotorsports.com[w33ps] said:agreed. How much did you pay? $250?
Injen sells the hydro shield, it's the same thing as a K&N DryCharger prefilter. And yes, you will have to take the light out, or remove the front bumper cover, to clean it if you put the filter in the fender well. The light only take a few minutes to remove so it's the fastest and easiest.thunkele said:Do u know where to buy hydro shields.. and also.. will i have to take the headlight out everytime i want to clean the filter?
You are most likely experiencing better throttle response. The HP gain will not be too much.Explr1 said:It was very easy to install, it took less than 30 minutes. It will probably take longer if you haven't already removed the resonator bellows. As far as performance gains, it pulls extremely hard now at WOT. I'll beat on it a little this weekend and see how much of a gain there really is.

... is that what YOU personally got or is that the factory dyno sheets? ... either way, if this is truly the case, I stand in awww ... very nice increase indeed!!Explr1 said:I'll take a 10 hp gain from the intake and live with it.
