I have a 2006 G6 GT. I hadn't used the Manual Shift Mode on my car for a long while and when I started using it again, there have been some issues. One issue is that it doesn't shift when I push on the knob. I've pushed gently and hard. I've had to switch to automatic and back to get it to start shifting. Another issue has been that the car won't kick over to MSM. Up where the odometer mileage is, it is to go M1 when you start in MSM, but sometimes it won't and therefore I'm not in MSM.

Does anyone else have/had these issue? Anyone know how to fix it or what I should look at?

never had this problem yet but i would geuss it has to do with either a sensor or something electronic. not much of a g6 tranny guy.
