hello everyone i was wondering if a 2006 mustang v6 4.0L engine would be compatible with a 2008 pontiac g6 4 doors. i found a engine of a mustang with only 20k miles and the seller put a price of 1000$ for it because his car was ccrashed and the engine was still in good shape and hes selling it. if the engine is compatible with the g6, how much could the total cost be? what else do i have to change? or even.... is this a good idea? lol. thanks alot for ur advice guys.

and also, i am looking for a good option of engine for my g6. is there even a possibility of changing the engine only? i would be looking for a v8. but a powerfull v6 would also do the job .

ok so technically, i need a v8 engine that works on FWD. i saws the GP GXP v8 engine that develops around 300 hp. its pretty impressive, but would i be able to put in a different v8 engine with more hp that would have FWD? does it necessarily need to be GM?

more precissely, im looking for an engine that would be compatible with my g6 and that would bring me from 0-100 km/h in less then 5-6 seconds
