My 06 gtp coupe 6 spd man trans speedometer gauge don't reflect how fast I'm actually going. It's 2 to 3 mph slower than travel speed. What's the issue & how do I remedy it?

Do you have the specified tire size or are you running with a "custom" tire package?

So true, I have seen this on many vehicles that I have owned including my 2016 Ram 2500 that has been off since day one. So isn't the gas mileage gauge off.

Normal condition, no remedy.
Over the life of a set of tires, they change in height as they wear, which changes a variable on your vehicle speed indicater, and that can't be corrected for, along with some other allowances taken by engineering.
( New tires have 10/32 tread, discard @ 2/32 = 8/32 wear x 2 16/32 , is .5 inch difference in tire diameter)
The mpg computer is way off compared to hand math anyway.
Heck on comparing to consumer GPS, there is a degree of accepted variability.
I think with some custom tuning equipment you can adjust somewhere, but don't quote me on that.
I wouldn't lose any sleep on this, quite normal.

They are the correct side tires. They are also old. I was just wondering if there was an easy fix. Doesn't sound like it tho. Thank u for the imput!!

Just drive the speed limits or buy radar detector or try metric system for some real confusion
