you Need to have your sensors checked out and your fuses and it sounds like you have a bad spark plug but whatever it is it's definitely a power problem that you should have a diagnostics check run because your killing you engine and making the problems worse every time you start it up
need help - all gauges go to zero, and car shutters
ok so when im driving all the sudden all my gauges will go to zero and the odometer will say error, my low fuel light comes on, and the info center reads low fuel, when i push the gas the car shutters but will adventually accelerate, if i keep driveing it gets more hesitent, if i pull over and turn the car off, sometimes it will take a few mins before the car will start, it wont even try, but ones it does it starts up and drives like normall. sumtimes it will go in and out of this stage while driving. i had a buddy pull sum codes from it, and got U0073, and P0700. when its doing this, and i pull over and shift threw gears it shifts really hard.... any help? thanks!!!

i just had my plugs/wires changed a little bit before this started happening, i'll make sure everything is connected good, and im getting a tranny flush today, then driving to work, hopefully it wont happen again. car has 85000 on it and hasn't had a flush yet...
Got the tranny flushed, drove decent for a couple days, and its still doin it.... ne ideas?
when I look up U0073 it shows "control module communications Bus A off" dont know what that means I got it from here: http://www.aa1car.com/trouble-codes/can_codes.htm

onea my buddys scanned it with his snap-on scanner (pretty nice one) he said he's pretty sure i need a new bcm... another person told me just to have mine reflashed... any one have any input as far as that goes?
Did you try diconecting the ECU/BCM fron the engine and reconnecting it?
It might have corrosion in there just a thought? I know some early G6's had a problem with water getting into there. it should be really clean if you take the plugs off. Mine has 3.

If you got a flush done, perhaps the filter wasn't installed properly? Typically with wonky behavior I always point to the BCM. On my 01 Impala the BCM caused all sorts of stupid behavior, car doors would lock/unlock 1000 times a minute, trunk would release, car wouldn't start, would flash Security and disable the engine. What gave it away(after 2 years of the locks and trunk issues) was the Security light came on, as soon as they came on(last symptom) I knew it was passlock/BCM related. Ordered up a new BCM and paid the dealer to flash it.
it was doing it before the flush... i'll disconect it and check everything today/tommorow whenever i get time, but yah once it starts acting "normal" again the security light comes on, today my low fuel light came on, and it dinged like it normally does 3 times, but then it kept doing it every 2 seconds... it sounds like im haveing pretty much the same problem as saberz was, but no trunk/door issues........ yet...... so im going to need a new one? or can this one still be fixeD?
You can get new ones probabbly for a couple hundred and a flash is around 125-150
I know you can look for one at a junk yard but it might be another risk.

yah if you could give me sum quick instructions... im pretty good with cars, but a few pointers would make it faster/easyer. thx.
on each wire harness is a little handle that you lift up and it will let go of the ECM to lift the handle push in this little tab and pull the handle up all the way. then just pull them parallel to the ground. Hope that makes sence it should when you look at it since i just did this 2 days ago.
(i used a flat head screwdriver to pry the harness of cause it has a seal on it)

Well the BCM from GM parts direct(I go OE on stuff like this) was about 175 shipped(this was a year ago). Dealer of course kills you on flashing it for a 5 minute flash job($150). Afterwards everything worked correctly, even my cruise control(which was also something that went lol).

If you have not tried it already, add some electrical grade dielectric grease to the blue BCM connectors and work it in. Another thing to check is bad grounds. Both have been known to cause odd electrical issues. The BCM item was the subject of a recall so you could also check your VIN on the GM website to see if it is outstanding (but it is easy to do yourself)
