Hey guys new to site and needed a lilttle help with my G6. I jave an intermitten check engine light. Doesn't affect the performance but my speed and RPM needles jump every now and then. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?? Oh and low fuel light will kick on when there is plenty left. Scanned it at advanced no codes. Please help. It has 52k on it driven very lightly except the occasional flooring. It's a 05 sedan.

Well the car finally crapped out for now. disconnected the battery at lunch , light turned off untill i got to about 45 mph. Traction light on all gauges jumping and A/C went out. Very sluggish and after i turned it off it had problems starting . remote start worked and all lights off now and A/C is working. Taking to shop tomorrow . I will update after massive bill is paid!
What year is the car? what is the motor? are you under warranty?

can you get a video?

All of that information will help us

Agreed and i have not see that issue as of yet? sounds like a loose connection or possible fuse failing
It is a 05 with a 3.5. Sorry no way to upload video but i am thinking it is a short in the wiring. someone else on the site was having similar problems and that is what it was. it is going into the shop tomorrow. I wish it was under warranty i bought it 2 months ago with 50 k on it. i will keep everyone posted after i get it back. thanks for the help

update

Well took it to get looked at adn they told me they could not duplicate any of the problems i have been having!!! Wow Murphy's Law....... Well i think they fixed it without telling me because I jumped down the GM's throat and went postal at the dealership. No more check engine light , I wish i could of pin pointed the problem but it is fixed now. If problem comes back up i can take to Pontiac and have the modules update or renewed for free ,as long as it is under 80k.
