Hey there, I am looking to get my G6 tuned.

Problem is I don't know where from I should get the tune from.

The only thing done to my car is a K&N Air Filter.
I have searched around, but I don't understand what most of the sutes are saying.

Thanks for any help.

Do all other mods before getting a tune....crab intake from lampoon on this board and an exhaust system.

I am trying to get my exhaust done now. you can find magna flow exhaust that is a direct bolt in. Apparently its pretty easy to do.

I am going for a custom exhaust. After all of that I will either get a Vector tune or wams tune. Most likely a wams.

The people at wams said to do all the intake and exhaust stuff before purchasing the new tuned ECM. They will need to know if you have other upgrades.

No one makes a cam kit so I am looking for a different rocker arm ratio but I am not sure what the rocker ratio is stock. I asked at dealerships and they gave me a deer in the headlights look.

Comp cams makes different ratios but not sure what one is best.

Chris can get you a tune. gtoshiftlight.com It's the only proven tune that's around...see the thread below about the Jet "chips".

P.S. Your car is not supercharged no matter how you spin it :bs:...you tell Chris your 6 is supercharged you'll get your butt handed to you.

I was thinking the same thing. I was like "umm...there was never a G6 with a S/C"...There was one on the Bonneville and Grand Prix, but those are different cars.

As for the tune, you're going to need to do everything else you want to do before you do the tune. Cams, pistons, methanol injection, lightened crank, etc...and you'll need to decide if you want to tune for higher octane(more power, but costs more)

No it's the same price regardless of which octane you pick. Though you have to pay more for premium gas.
