i need new rear speakers for my 05 g6 GT with the monsoon stereo.
i know that they are 6x9, but does anyone know what wattage they are?
i want to get something compairible to what i have in there now, maybee something a little better.

I think your best bet is to go to an audio shop and ask them. Don't let them sell you 350W speakers for a factory system. Remember, your speaker RMS and head unit RMS should be close.

There are Monsoon and Non-Monsoon options.

You dont have to buy from them but it will give you an idea.

PS....they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive but better service you will not find anywhere else.

Gotta agree with that! I've shopped with them for at least a decade now and love it!

well, i got to looking at my speakers. They are pretty weird. there is a tweeter, bass driver 6x9 and a mid speaker ontop of it. but the wires for the mid's don't run into the bass 6x9.. I've never had the covers off the speakers yet, but i'd say you would have to find a one way bass driver without mid or tweeters to replace them. comming from your amp in the right side of your trunk, there are 3 sets of wires. one for bass, mid, high's which run's to each speaker.

I agree with these folks to some degree but I still stand on the professional advise.
