Should I buy the 3 year warranty for 1100?

Just bought a 2005 pontiac g6 v6 with 47,000 miles on it for 8000 out the door. It's just the plain jane model with no power seats or moon roof. It came with a 90 day NADN Warranty. For 1100 extra I can get a 3 year NADN warranty my question is is this worth it? If something goes wrong wil they actually cover it? :confused:Thanks
