Not knocking the Pinto, I had one that ran mid/high 13's with a modified 2.3L and a mustang 5 speed and 4:11 9 inch. Problems was it kept breaking cam followers and I ended up blowing the engine.

"you want a what, a header for a pinto" Allot of parts guys laughed at me.

It was funny back in the 80's when the vets ran a 16 in 1/4 and blowing their doors off....lol

aah, your talking about a real Pinto aren't you! Not a wanna be Civic Pinto. My brother in-law had a Pinto wagon about 20 years ago I begged him to tint the windows (we car pooled to work).
