Hello. My name's Nathan.

I recently came into possession of a 2007 G6 V6. It has the sun and sound package. -about 70k on it, but literally %95 of said miles are highway miles from commuting 2 hours each day for work. (not stop and go commute, but actual highway miles)

This is actually going to be the car my fiance drives. (she was driving an 01 alero, but it was time for that car to go down the river)

My current car is a 2007 WRX which i love like a child. Being in warranty i'm slow to mod it, but i just finished my custom speaker box and installed the new system. (subaru audio = less that marginal) I also have a moderately aggressive opensource tune, and a carbon fiber catback.

I'm not new to forums. I frequent a few of them, so yes, i know how to use the search button. :)

If anyone wants to chime in if there is an outlet to obtain stock GXP bumper covers and side skirts? My mom currently drives a GXP, and my fiance wants her car to look like it. lol. Any recommendations?

I LOVED the WRX STI lines...before they turned them into fugly hatchbacks.

And now the Evo's are going that way too... My life is slowly becoming ruined. :(

wow. I figured it would be virtually a bumped cover swap, rear clip and some side skirts. lol. Guess there's more to it! I guess we'll be better off buying a GXP. :)

i'll try and throw some pics up tonight of both of the rides. thanks for the welcome!

I don't know if you need all of that if you just swapping the bumpers. That's just what GM parts direct says is needed for the front end. I'm sure there are parts that are the same on both.

well i bought my catback for like $260 or so... and i think the resin CF cloth and associated materials cost me like $100... but the virtually identical (now) HKS carbon TI for my car sells for $950... so i think I did good. lol It was my first time doing any DIY carbon work and it came out great. No it isn't any harder to keep clean that the polished stainless that is was before.
