New Key

Okay so this may have been discussed before but I'm brand new to this site

. Recently I lost my keys (dropped them in the lake on a fishing trip

) so I bought a new key today but the dealership is trying to tell me that I have to tow the car up there and pay them $105 in order to have the key I bought today programmed! Does anyone know how to program this key WITHOUT the original key?

You can't; you need the dealership's Tech 2 machine to do that. Sory
