So like is said I did replace front pads and rotors, not knowing to go performance parts and went with carquest middle of the line pads and standard rotors.

So i'm thinking it could be the caliper or a control arm bushing. any ideas?

(the shaking is only on the front left driver side) the problem is getting worse daily.

I'm going to try to swap the rotors on the front and see if that helps, the caliper looked fine before, but i wasn't looking for a problem before.

So i replaced a bad caliper (rubber grommet was ripped around the piston). It brakes better now but i'm pretty sure the bad caliper warped that rotor. Going to replace that if driving doesn't even it out by next week.

i had heard this could be a tie rod or ball bearing issue as well..mine does the same thing..i though caliper but my mechanic friend said it shouldnt be the cause of it..he also thought my calipers looked fine but that my tie rod may need replaced.

I had my stock rotors turned, As soon as they heated up it was warped to hell. Once it cooled down it was smooth again.
did you check out your ball joints and tie rods? Anything seem loose at all under there?

this happened to my 2008 g6 when i first got it. i took it back to the dealer and i think they said it was the tie rod or ball bearing and they replaced it, after that it went away.

Replaced the front driver side hub/wheel bearing, problem is less now and no major issues unless over 40mph and the heavy shaking is still there. I'm running out of ideas. So we have new pad/rotor/caliper/wheel bearing. Now its to the axel? Only during braking and on the front driver side. 65k miles on this thing and she said there was an issue even before she got into that 10mph fender bender. Any other suggestions of things I can test. I don't know how hard it is to do the axel but after this i'm out of ideas. I was ace certified in brakes steering and suspension and i'm at my end.
