Hi all, thanks for letting me sign up, I have not purchased one yet but I am going to look at a 07 GT Friday and was wondering if anyone can fill me in on these cars before I purchase one.

07 GT 3.5 with 62,000 miles on it. $4400.00
It does have a Rebuilt title on it due to the front bumper cover, grill and headlights being replaced.
No structural damage occurred.

Parts availability
Ease of working on them
Reliability
Average cost to maintain

This will be my daily driver and I need Reliability first and foremost.

I am coming out of a 03 Eclipse GT 3.0 that had 60,000 on it when I got it and now at 220,000 it is finally giving up the ghost.

Thanks for the help upfront!

Well I went and looked at it yesterday, I was told on the phone front bumper cover, grill and headlights is what was replaced.
Turned out both fenders were also replaced and I could see where the front radiator supports were knocked back out.
My biggest concern was where the fenders meet the door it was real skinny gap at the top and real wide at the bottom on both fenders.
Led me to believe the frame buckled some when the PO rear ended someone.
I walked away.
Shame to, after reading up on these cars I was actually excited about getting one.
Thanks anyway for letting me join.

Reliability is good with the cars. If you find another, I would consider it. We've had our 07 3.5L for 7 years now and put almost 90k on it ourselves. Most issues aren't too hard to deal with if you are mechanically inclined, and some are doable if you are not.

As for the one you looked at, sounds like you made a good choice. Unless they were willing to put it on a frame machine and show you it was in spec, I would pass based on your description.

There are several <60k G6 that are around $6k-8k that seem like better values.
