Hey everyone hows its goin'? Names Noah from NY, have had my "sixer" for about ummm 6 months and always reading the forums so decided to join up in this one... Nothing to special about the car just a normal V6 in Crimson Red, pretty basic options for the most part. I was going to get the GT but the dealership didnt have the red and the one they could get came with leather and the panoramic roof which I wanted neither of. The chrome wheels looked nice but as you can see I wanted to change them anyways so why pay the extra money for chrome winter rims hahaha (I live in the snow belt of NY). Anways just modest mods like tint, artic white bulbs (low,high,fog) and rims, I have the front end cover because I used to highway drive to work, but not sure if I still want it on there now that I relocated closer to home. Lemme know what you think, summer mods are lowering the car and possibly the true ram air hood?!?! Enclosed are the best pics I could get of the car seeing as how I got the rims 2 days before it snowed

Hey welcome to the club officially.

Im not crazy about black rims on ANY car, but I like the color of the car! For some reason, bra's don't look TERRIBLE on the G6. Just keep an eye on the paint underneath it, man...

I was going to go chrome, but decided against it because I couldnt seem to find something that I liked because all the chrome I came across was to gody (however you spell it lol) looking. The bra I take off and clean all the time, it came right from GM with "Pontiac G6" right on it, but it comes off and on in less then a minute honestly if u know where the clips are. The rims might look weird because of the offset 35mm instead of 40mm, but I also put a 40 series on it 225/40/18 to be exact because Im going to lower the car this summer and dont want to rub....

Are they American Racing rims? I saw a set on eBay. I'm considering rims, but I'm not sure if I want black or chrome.

Yeah.. the casinos, those were prolly the only rim I found that I liked... the only problem is that I've heard alot of negative remarks about AMR's so I stayed clear, but I'm just cautious like that probably nothing to worry about at all lol... but I did see those exact rims on ebay too!!

try calling companys themselves and/or finding a rim with a center cap, the center cap means that alot of rim only companies get blank wheels and will have them drilled. Dont look at a middle man tire place because they usually won't look into having them drilled, if they dont have a listing for them then they usually say they cant get them. Also, the Cobalt SS, and Caddy Catera have the same bolt pattern and offset as the G6 so that helps in a listing. I had to do some research with companies and see who can get them drilled to match the car, some places wont charge extra and some charge a bundle, thats where finding a middle man helps because a tire place usually wont charge for drilling as a customer service!! It took me about a month and 50 calls to find a place that had what I was looking for and could drill them out, try www.victoriatire.com but if u find one that you like, call and talk to someone and have them do a physical search for the rim or your likely to get a "backorder" email. Sorry so long winded, but trying to give some helpful hints beause I've been thru it.. Ohhh yeah, if you thru a middle man for your rims, look at tire rack for tires (which im sure we all know) because my tireplace was going to charge me 160 a tire when I got them for 90 off tire rack!
