Unless you plan on braking from speeds over 130 very hard, upgrading the brakes is more of an aesthetic modification than anything else. I don't think too many people are going to be autocrossing the car either...

You can reduce the weight a little bit, but not much more than 200 or 300 pounds, depending on how far you want to go. Even then, you're still going to be a good bit over 3,000.

probably based on the fact they break easily with the stock power.

Exactly. Like most 4 bangers or V6 engines, Why waste the time, money, and risk of it breaking down when you can just buy a new car with a V8 under warranty? Or since Ford will most likely be in business, spend it on a top of the line Mustang GT and some parts for those same costs mentioned.

If you truly want a fast car, get a V8 then supercharge it and do everything else many people talk about doing to smaller engines. Many times it's cheaper to trade in your supped up V6 in for a V8 that comes faster stock.

Are you sure about the power of the ECU? From the report i've heard is a 5 HP increase while having to use 91 octane fuel and making it not worth buying. I know it has to be re programmed with a supercharger, but i wonder if your ECU actually gives you power than the abilitly to utilize it.

Ok I Have A Question, My Buddy Came Up With The Idea Of Using A Turbo On My Car, And I Agreed Im Currently In Iraq So I Havent Been Able To Do Much Research But If Someone Can Tell Me, I Know Its Not Worth The $$$ To Turbo, But Im Doing A Show/Street Car, And Want To Have The Turbo Just To Make People Say "Damn, Now That Is Nice" And Im Wondering, Can A Turbo Work On The 3.5L V6 G6 GT 4 Door... My Car Is Heavier, And Will Be Even Heavier When I Put The 19 Inch CCW Rims On It... But Will A Turbo Work On 3 - 5 PSI Of Boost Without Having Engine Or Transmission Problems?

I dont think that application will work on our cars. There is NO ONE
available to tune it properly....that is the issue Dr Speed had when he put one on his.
It wouldnt run....

I think its doable but it is going to take more work, money and travel to get done than is anywhere near reasonable.
