Where did you order the motor? Or are you still looking for it?Yes 3.6, I ran the original motor pretty hard on low oil and I forgot to shift out of 4th in manual shift. Then I heard knocking and metal scrape sounds. I bought a used running motor site unseen and did a motor swap as I didn't have the money to do it right and needed the car for transportation asap. (08 Saturn vue xr. same 3.6) The motor that is in it now had an exhaust leak from the beginning. And a few weeks ago it was smoking white and I was losing coolant from I think was a blown head gasket. I used blue devil sealant and the smoking stopped. I though it would be ok. But, one day I went out and it would not start up. Spins over slow but does not fire up. I took it to Chevy and they basicly said I need a motor. They wanted $9400 to fix. Lol.Nope.
It was used from lowmileageengines.com with 28k miles. Not looking for motor now. no money. i think i would rather move on from the money pit...
