I have a 07 g6 with the 3.5L. About a week ago the oil light and seat belt light on the instrument panel came on. So i checked to oil, and it was fine. I went ahead and did a oil change anyway to be on the safe side. and no change, the oil light will still come on at random times. The seat belt light is also on when i am buckled up, and it also comes on at random times. idk if these 2 lights are a coincidence or if they have anything to do with each other. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

seatbelt light is usually a sensor, your going to have to take it to the dealer.

When you changed the oil did you reset the oil life?

yes, afrer i did the oil change i reset the oil life.

dealer is probably the best bet at this point, unless you have one of those scanning tools that can read codes

Places like autozone will do it for free and tell you what the codes mean if that helps.
