Hi everyone! My 2006 G6 GTP 3.9L has been doing great for me. I have noticed that since I bought my car the steering wheel pulls left on fast takeoffs from stop. Is this normal because of the amount of torque coming from the engine when I stomp the pedal, or could there be a problem?

Thanks!

thats the famous torque steer

The only way to eliminate it is to drive a rwd car or to use equal length driveshafts (like 07 GTP)

I just love to stomp it and weave on the lane!!!

I have the traction control running always. It's not a slip of the tires on the pavement. When I take off, the tires grip perfectly, its just the left side grips stronger and pulls the steering wheel to the left.

I think it has to do with the above mentioned driveshaft's being different length. After I thought about it some more and did some research (mythbusters style) that could very well be it. Now I just have to find out the length of the driveshafts and if myself-self can easily replace them.

Thanks to clisto for helping to point me in the right direction.
