Hi everyone! My 2006 G6 GTP 3.9L has been doing great for me. I have noticed that since I bought my car the steering wheel pulls left on fast takeoffs from stop. Is this normal because of the amount of torque coming from the engine when I stomp the pedal, or could there be a problem?
I've never had that problem, but then again i do have the traction control, that has been an awesome feature in the snow storms in texas, yes, i said snow storms in texas!
I have the traction control running always. It's not a slip of the tires on the pavement. When I take off, the tires grip perfectly, its just the left side grips stronger and pulls the steering wheel to the left.
I think it has to do with the above mentioned driveshaft's being different length. After I thought about it some more and did some research (mythbusters style) that could very well be it. Now I just have to find out the length of the driveshafts and if myself-self can easily replace them.
Thanks to clisto for helping to point me in the right direction.
have same prob. but the horse power kinda makes me forget about it. lol
