i wanted to powder coat my rims, havent found any place locally that could do it
Personaly if it was me i woyuld have the rims piowder coated instead of trying to paint them...Ive seen the black out paint you can buy at your local automotive store the only thing with that is your gonna have the problem later on down the road with the paint chippin off and it would be better to search the internet to find someone that poweder coats...I mean i guess you could put alot of clear coat on the rims and of course that is gonna help alot.. If it was me when i had stuff powder coated you can get places that powder coat heavy equipment usally they will do it they done that for me or even a motorcycle shop would prob do it...the only thing is when you take it to a shop that does heavy equipment i ran into the problem were they was like were not gonna two tone anything..hope the input helps you

You cant powdercoat them. That requires 400 degree temps.
Your GT wheels are Cladded in plastic which would melt in the process.

Just look for aftermarket.

hey i'm not trying to be rude or anything, but what's the reasoning behind wanting black rims? i guess everyone has their own prefences but i LOVE my chrome rims! i mean i know they're stock and nothing special, but i always thought of chrome rims as the jewlery for the car..the chrome just adds a sparkle in my opinion!
