Just trying to see if the axle looks correctly installed? I wasn't able to look at how the old one was installed so nothing to reference.

Also, where the heck is the manual trans check level plug?

Please advise guys!

Driver-side axle. Is that gap normal? From the outside with the wheel on, it looks exactly like the passenger side. The wheel looks like it's all good.

This is the trans taken from the pass-side. Driver-side wheel is off. It looks like the upper left bolt may be it?

The axle looks good. What i did when i replaced mine, was hold it straight and tap the end of it in with a rubber mallet. I hit it witha good amount of force and felt it slip into its place.

you really shouldn't have to hit them to get them in.. you just shift and wiggle until it seats.. its simple.. the axle nut is what keeps them in..

as for the check plug.. you just have to find it..

Hey G6GTP2006NH. You mind if I ask what prompted the axle replacement?

Yeah unfortunately the wheel bearing was rust welded so bad part of the axle had to be cut away to release the WB so I could free up the knuckle. A shame too because the axle was ok.
