Issue 1: When i slow down for a light, i start hearing a vro vroo noise. when fully stopped, its gone.

Issue 2: Say i hit a speed bump or pothole, i hear a clank noise or thud noise.

Year and mileage from your car can help determine age of the suspension parts you here noise from. I had a similar issue with the Sway Bar Link making noise after hitting a bump or pothole. The other noise could be coming from the Wheel Hub Assembly. I noticed especially on our older G6's the wheel bearing assembly gets fused onto the wheel knuckle and you would get the noise due to age and rust. Also could get noise from the axle's as well, putting the car on a lift and in drive will get that noise located.
