I bought my 2007 G6 at the end of January and the day i got it i noticed a weird noise coming from the front driver side .. i couldnt figure it out and when i took it back to the service center where i bought it from they just lubed it. Days later it still makes the noise and finally fed up. I decided to look at everyones post with the same problems and noticed majority said it was the intermediate shaft so i took my car back today and told them i wanted it replaced .. so i'm just hoping they listened .. the noise drives in crazyyY!!!

They'll either lubricate it or replace it. It is a known problem, and from what I've experienced with 2 G6's, the problem never goes away. I don't believe it is a safety issue, otherwise they would have recalled it by now...
