I currently have an 2001 SATURN V6 L Series. Had the tranmission, powersteering rack, steering pump, Tranmission pressure solonoid, 2 MAF sensor replaced. I'm skeptical about buing another GM so i'm donig my in dept research at sites just like this. I plan on buying a G6 GT/GTP sedan. I want the panoramic sunroof. Does anynoe have this option without having any problems?? Any particular year where they actually fixed it. Because they stopped having that panoramic sunroof as an option in the G6 08 models. THey just put it in the AURA. Any particular year also that had the most probablems? etc etc

i own an 05 G6 base model ... i have a remote start on it, movable pedals, 6 disc changer, sunroof ... the only thing i don't have is a leather interior ... i love the car but the only thing that i still can't stand is the electric power steering ... it annoys the living crap out of me ... the think i don't like about it is that after you turn the wheel starts turning back on it's own and you have to hold it prety hard ... so ... they put electric power steering on 05 and 06 models ... 07 and up G6 come with hydralic power steering so that's not a problem anymore ... the rest i love about this car ... i don't want to get out of it ...

i haven't really seen any topics on here about problems with the panoramic roof ...

Hi, I have an 06 G6 GT with panoramic roof. I hadn't had any problems with the roof til last week when some hardware came out when I had the roof open on the fwy. Got home, couldn't close the roof. I messed with it a lil and it closed with a gap between the 1st and 2nd panel. Took it in to dealer, they checked it and disconnected the roof from opening til the part came in.. took it back, got it fixed. But when we left it was dark, so I didn't notice still a gap btwn the panels.On frwy, noticed the loud wind noise even with roof closed. Went back and had it adjusted then and there. No more complains.....for now. BUT, this roof is what sold me on this car. I 1st test drove this car and fell in love with it. Test drove other models, but I kept coming back to this one. I had my car special order form inside out. So I am a happy G6 owner.
