Do any of the G6 cars have line-level outputs (aka pre-amp outputs) on the factory radio, or are they all amplified outputs? Of course, the cars that have the regular sound system and NO amp will have amplified outputs that drive the speakers.

However, I think the Monsoon systems have separate amplifiers for the speakers. Do these radios send an unamplified signal to the amps, and then have the amps amplify it? Or does that radio send an amplified signal to the amps, and then have the amps amplify is some more?

It's a weird question I know. I want to install an amplifier and some new door speakers in my car (actually an Aura) and I would prefer to use an unamplified signal coming off the stock radio, because it would be cleaner than an amplified signal.

Thanks! -Dave

I'm going to guess that it is low level, but you can get a small speaker and tie into the input on the amp. If its quiet, low level if its fairly loud, High.
