I have a 2006 pontiac g6 gt sedan Ive had this rattle for a while now when traveling at highway speeds between 60 and 75 mph it seems to resonate through the steering column when you move the steering wheel off center to the right or left the rattle disappears and when you return to center the rattle comes back and if you apply the brakes it rattles even more. I took the wheels off and checked my tie rods inner and outer for play everything seems tight ball joints are good too I even checked the rack to make sure it was tight. I even checked the strut bearings with the car off the ground and couldn,t feel any play when pushing up on the wheel. if anybody has any ideas or has the same problem let me know ...thanks
