Looking for good 6x9s to install in my 09 g6 gt. Any recommendations? prices aren't an issue just something compatible with the monsoon system.

Thanks, I was thinking either Rockford or Kickers. Is there anything specific i need to know when installing or is it pretty straight forward?

Pretty straight forward. It’s very easy. The rear covers pop off, which exposes the mounts. You can either connect them or splice the speakers in.

I put in some from Dual Electronics and had them in for about 3 years. Just love them

Ok so my next question is how do you get to them to get em out?? I watched a video on YouTube and holy shit this guy took out the entire back seat to remove the trim, then remove the felt cover to get to the speakers. Is there an easier way?

You can access them through the top by cutting the factory grills out from the rear deck cover. Then replace them with the new grills that come with the speakers.
