Hi guys! I have a 2006 G6 Sedan and I’ve been wanting to replace my 3rd brake light for a while now. The problem is, I have no clue how to remove the cover off of the brake light. I tried searching for someone to tell me how, but all I could find is that a lot of people struggled with it. I’m hoping someone can let me know what specific tools I need to take it off. Thanks in advance.

Take off the two bolts with a 10mm socket. Remove the plug and the whole unit comes out.

Are you talking about the LED strip light on the decklid? I had the same question! A few of them on one side have burned out.
Not very noticeable, but it bugs me.
